East Steel Co. Ind LLC

Steel Billets

Production capacity of 100,000 metric tonnes per year.

Certified billet production

Current approvals include MoIAT / ECAS conformity for billets, CARES digital traceability and CARES quality management coverage.

Billet Manufacturing

High-quality billets for demanding applications

The billet plant was installed in 2010 as a modern industrial unit equipped with induction furnaces, continuous casting and hot direct rolling capabilities.

East Steel produces billets meeting international requirements in a wide range of chemical compositions and sizes that can be customized to customer requirements.

Manufacturing Process

From scrap preparation to finished billet

01

Charging

Steel scrap is inspected, prepared and charged into the induction furnace.

02

Melting

Scrap is melted and chemical properties are controlled to the required specification.

03

Continuous Casting

Refined liquid steel is solidified into billet form through continuous casting.

04

Transfer or Storage

Billets are transferred for hot direct rolling or stored in the billet yard.
